I’ve been leading meditation since 1979. I draw from different sources: Mindfulness/Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhism, yoga, guided visualization, body mind practices. It’s a One Dharma approach.
Ongoing, open groups for meditation and spiritual exploration. The format includes an arriving meditation, a check-in, a focus for the day, a 30 minute meditation (with some spoken guidance) and a time for sharing. We sit in chairs. (You’re welcome to bring a meditation cushion or a yoga mat and lie on the floor.) Classes are open to everyone.
In December of 2013 we combine meditation and dreamwork, using techniques inspired from Jeremy Taylor and Bob Haden. In 2014 we sit with the Hindrances, Loving Kindness, chanting, Jin Shin Jyutsu, dreamwork and more! Click here to view session times, dates, and locations.
The monthly 3rd Monday group (starting in Jan 2014) is sponsored by Olmsted UU Congregation, no fee for members, suggested donation, $15 per session.
