Explore Meditation – Deepen your practice – Connect with others
DEEPENING CIRCLES SANGHA – Ongoing, open group for meditation and spiritual exploration. We start with a short arriving meditation, a check-in, reading for the day, sharing insights and questions, ending with a longer guided meditation. We meet on Zoom. Classes are open to everyone.
Ours is a One Dharma approach, drawing on wisdom from Buddhism, yoga, contemporary neuro-science and psychology. I’ve been leading meditation since 1979. Frequent sources include Pema Chodron, Jack Kornfield, Thich Nhat Hanh, Rick Hanson, Richie Davidson, Daniel Siegel and Daniel Goleman. Fall of 2025, we read from Pema Chodron’s book: Comfortable with Uncertainty.
Weekly Thursday morning meditation group meets 10:30-11:30 a.m. eastern US, on Zoom, suggested donation, $15 per session. No meetings Thanksgiving and late December
MEDITATIONS FOR LIVING WELL & DYING WELL — Wed., Oct 1, 15, 29, & Nov 12, 2:00-3:30pm, at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River, OH, in the chapel.
In four sessions, we’ll share mindfulness and gratitude practices to befriend the body, awaken the heart and deepen our well-being, so we may live well now and – when we’re ready – allow the body to let go with grace. Led by Rev. Mary Grigolia, UU community minister, spiritual director/companion, and friend of West Shore.
Cost: $100 for 4 sessions plus the workbook, suggested donation. (Financial assistance available to members of West Shore.) All are welcome! Registration required. To register, contact Mary: mary@marygrigolia.com
